Tokyo Tarareba Girls is a TV series that’s funny and touching, and I’d say the script really resonates with women looking for love. It makes me laugh, and it also makes me cry. It has only ten episodes so it doesn’t take a whole lot of time to watch. Highly recommended!
Based on a Japanese manga, the mini series is about three 30-year-old women who want so much to get married and have babies, but keep falling for guys that are wrong for them.
You can find it on Netflix with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles. I watched it on my laptop with the Traditional Chinese subtitles, screenshot my favorite lines, and translated a few of the subtitles into English so you get a taste of it.
